Program
Field visits to Bharatpur and Nepalgunj to identify and finalize the problem statements and challenges related to sanitation workers in Nepal
Conduct baseline survey and FGD/KII to dig further into the situation of sanitation workers in the two nominated towns
Hold consultative meetings with all possible partners and stakeholders
Develop of TOR for Startup Company, SOP for Hackathon and Budgeting
Finalize Host, Co-host and Focal Person for the Hackathon
Communication and lettering among the organizers and inclusion of feedbacks
Hire Service Provider for the Hackathon through RFQ
Develop promotional materials and strategies for the event
Start the registration process for participants
Start the registration process for volunteers
Organize a press conference on 30 March 2023 to officially launch the event

Participants work on developing innovative solutions and prototypes for the identified challenges
Provide mentorship and support to the participants throughout the Hackathon

Evaluate the prototypes developed during the hackathon
Select the best prototypes for further development
Announcement of funding and support for the selected prototypes
Establish partnerships with relevant stakeholders and organizations to support the further development and implementation of the prototypes
Post-event thanksgiving communication
Startup to work on their ideas into product development and modern equipment identification
ADB, PMO, NAST and RAN coordination, under the liaison and leadership of Social Engineer, to pilot the selected prototypes in real-world settings in Nepalgunj and Bharatpur.
Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the prototypes
Collect feedback from users and stakeholders to improve and refine the prototypes
Provide necessary support and resources to ensure the success of the pilot phase
Analyze the results and impact of the piloting phase
Develop strategies for scaling up the successful prototypes in Nepal and other countries in the Asia and Pacific region
Disseminate the outcomes of the hackathon and piloting phase through various channels, including webinars, conferences, workshops, and publications
Foster collaboration and partnerships to sustain and further develop the solutions beyond the initial pilot phase
Explore mass production and investment avenues for upscaling and innovation entrepreneurship
